Ask me about my time spent at Midea!

During my time at Midea, I collaborated with engineering, manufacturing, and research teams to create products that acknowledge users needs and wants.

I applied the rapid ideation techniques that I learned in school to generate and refine design concepts efficiently. I brainstormed with fellow teammates and bounced ideas off of each other until a possible design was found.

I learned how to think outside of the box and rework already existing products to be even better. Throughout this experiance I found out how to better integrate aesthetics and functionality with the help of mentors and fellow designers.

During weekly meetings with our Louisville, KY and overseas team, I created presentations and introduced my ideas, solutions, and possible aesthetic choices with the team. I asked for critiques and used those critiques to improve my work.

I was also tasked with conducting market research and analyzing competing products. I gathered this information to identify trends, user needs, and gaps in the market to make better informed design decisions.

I got acquainted with different programs, such as Procreate, Solidworks, KeyShot, Powerpoint, and Adobe Suite.
